Had An Erpc With Excessive Bleeding. Feel Sore And Pain. Is This Normal Now And Will It Take Longer To Heal ?
I had an erpc three days ago with excessive bleeding and was given extra meds on the table to contracr utetus and preserve bloods. I am still very sore and in pain, altjough it is a little better today. It is also sore to go to the toilet, both ways. I had an erpc in the past and dont remember being in much pain after. Is this normal now and will it take longer to heal after the heavier bleeding this time?
It is normal to bleed for a while after the procedure, even spot for a few days after the procedure. The pain and soreness is also considered normal and should subside within 3-7 days after surgery.
Wishing you safe and quick recovery.
Take care.
