Had Appendectomy. Post Surgery Scar Horizontal Under Navel And Then Vertically Goes Down. Is The Scar On The Correct Place?

Hi, I have a friend who had an appendectomy . She has a post surgery scar that is horizontally under her navel and then goes vertically down. I have been looking into the scars and can t seem to figure out why her scar is like this apart from the general answer that different people s appendix are in different places. Can you help?
