Had Area On Ear Cartilage. Surgical Incision Recommended With Stitch?
I had an area on my ear cartilege, negative biopsy , not completely healed in 8 weeks using of mupirocin ointment 2 % indicated. Surgical incision recommended with stitch? I am a 77 years old, male male, good health. In previous years I have had a total of about 4 basal cell cancers removed, 2 by Mhos. I see a dermatologist every 3-5 months. There has been healing but not complete and slow, if any progress. Would laser treatment be an appropriate treatment, as an alternative to an excision and stitch.
if the biopsy is negetive and there is no other contraindication i think there is no harm in going for laser treatment in your case and keeping in view age factor
