Had Electrical Cardioversion. Might Had A Flu. Feel Stick In Stomach. Cardiologist Put On Sotalol. Side Effect?

Last week I had electrical cardioversion. The next day I thought I must have the flu. I was so sick to my stomach. The cardiologist had just put me on Sotalol. Every day about an hour after taking my meds (usual ones and Sotalol) I get very nauseous and the thought of food about makes me ill.
Could the shock affect my stomach?

Hi, it appears to be the gastric hyper acidity due to the satolol, or a number of medicines taking at a time. Most probable is the satolol.
If you get the gastric irritation neutrlised you will be fine. I advise you to convay the problem to your doctor. He will look after the problem.
Thank you.
