Had Endometriosis, Removed Left Ovary, Slight Pain Sessions That Doesn't Last Long. Treatment?
In 1993, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, and the left ovary was removed. I had some pain during ovulation, which got worse and worse each month for probably a year, before it was removed. This year, I have had several slight pain sessions, which didn't last long, but in the very same spot in my left groin where the ovary was. Tonight the pain was more spiking than before. I have not been to the doctor yet, but most likely will. Is this normal?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The mild intermittent pain that you are having cannot be called a normal finding. This could be due to recurrence of endometriosis or a mild intestinal colic due to intestinal infection. proper examination and investigations are needed for diagnosis.
