Had Ensephalitis, Seizure. On Dilantin. Do It Have Side Effects?
Hi I had at ensephalitis 11years ago and I had some seizure but I'm be come back to mortal thanks god and I have not have at seizure for the past 3 years but the dr still having me on Dilantin and I don't know if I should stop the medication littler by littler because I thing I'm getting at side effect from that medication

Hi, encephalitis is a disease with extensive invasion of the meninges. and increase of the intra cranial pressure. the disease has subsided, but the consequences will be left behind, like thickening of the meninges, etc. which may cause seizures. That is why the drug is used for ever.
