Hi, I am a 40 year old male in good health. I have been in the gym, weight lifting, cardio, for the past 20 years. Recently, I have had some very infrequent sharp pain, usually lasting 1 – 2 seconds, under my right armpit, outer upper right pectoral. There is no bruising, dimpling, on the pectoral muscle. The pain comes usually at times of rest, when I’m just getting up from sleep or laying down to go to bed. The pain doesn’t seem to be triggered from being active or lifting weights. I’m worried about a pec strain, or slight tear but the symptoms doesn’t align. Any suggestions on what It might be ?
