Had Intercourse, And Had Taken Pills Also. Seen Spotting. Didn't Get Periods Yet. HPT Negative. Why Is The Periods Late?

Hi. I am healthy 21 years old female with no signs of any disease. My periods come on 15th of a april, i had intercourse on 25th of april for the first time but i was not sure that the sperms were ejaculated inside or not, then i took two tablets of ecp the next day. I had spotting for almost 5 days. But now its 1st june and still i didnt get my periods. Even i performed the HCG pregnancy strip test 5 times on different days, but it came negative.. Please tell me why are my periods late? What should i do? How many days would it take to get my periods back? I am healthy and no signs of any abnormality.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

Emergency pill can alter the menstrual cycle.
The spotting you are having could be due to the side effect of the pill.

As your regular cycle pattern got altered due to pill, your next period might have delayed.
As you took the pill within adviced time the possibility of pregnancy is less.
You wait for one more week, and if you do not get periods by that time consult gynecologist once and take tablets for withdrawal bleeding.
