Had Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Started Bleeding Heavy Like Period. Is This Normal?
Hi, I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy on the 13th and started bleeding tonight after having no bleeding for a week. It is as heavy as a period, but can t be as no longer have even a cervix. Is this normal? Been feeling very suck for 5 days too and have a pulling sensation lower left side in my groin.
Hello madam, from the history you have given, following hysterectomy, mild bleeding is common, it could be due to collected blood during surgery...But heavy bleeding, after 1 week is not normal..i would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist as early as possible, you may require a detail examination and if necessary an ultrasound scan....hope i was helpful to you. ...
