Had Liposuction To Stomach. Had Sex. Delayed Period. Normal?
Good day. I had liposuction to the stomach and saddles on 12 April 2013. I was on my 4th day or so of my period on the day of my surgery (started my period on 9 April 2013). I then had sex on 16 or 17 April 2013, but there was no ejaculation (i am 100% certain). Now my period is late by 3-6 days. is this normal? could I be preggers?

thank you for reaching out for an advice . physical stress such as going into surgery and also fat cells loss could cause disruption of your previously regular period . Nevertheless if you complain of delay get a home urine pregnancy test, though early as this wont be so sensitive if you become more concerned of getting pregnant you should visit your gynecologist who could order B hCG test , if you can go to a lab where you can ask them to do B-hCG test for you without visiting the doctor its depends on your country regulations . anyhow compare the results of your B-hCG test to the following parameters :
An hCG level of less than 5mIU/ml is considered negative for pregnancy, and anything above 25mIU/ml is considered positive for pregnancy.
