Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Te lump near anus could be prolapse of rectum, which commonly occurs following severe Gastroenteritis. Diagnosis of which depends on thorough clinical examination. Kindly see a General surgeon for examination and confirmation of diagnosis. Kindly get back to me if you have any query.

Anesthesiologist Dr. Manjeth Kumar G's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

I suspect it to be a Hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids is the enlarged vascular vein in anal canal.

Some important causes are Constipation, Overweight etc..
Because external hemorrhoids can get irritated and clot under the skin, causing a hard painful lump.

No specific investigation needed. Just physical examination with gloved finger and visual examination with lighted scope is enough is make diagnosis.

Initial treatment for Hemorrhoids are increasing fiber intake, oral fluids to maintain hydration, pain killers to help with the pain, and rest.

Surgery to remove hemorrhoids may be done if above said treatments do not work.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
