Had Open Heart Surgery. Taking Acitrom. On Tomatoes And Coriander Leaves Diet. Will I Feel Better?

i recently had an open heart surgery,3 weeks back.i am taking acitrom 2 mg everyday.Please let me know is it totally forbidden for me to take tomatos and corriender leaves even in small quantities in my diet.also let me know is it that these foods can not be taken as raw or cooked in any form while a am on acitrom.. ?

The drug is a vitamin K antagonist and hence anticoagulant. As a matter of fact, most foods contain the vitamin and it is difficult to evade them. There is no specific contraindication to any food – provided the food is almost similar (qualitative and quantitative) over time; frequent checking of INR will be required in early period, during stabilisation...
