OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible causes for your problem are :
- Sometimes normal periods can come one week early and also there could be some fluctuation in the menstrual flow.
-Hormonal imbalance leading to irregularity.
-Thyroid hormonal abnormalities can also affect menstrual cycle.
- If there is any possibility of pregnancy, better to rule out once.
So if your bleeding continues further or the irregularity repeats in future, better to consult gynecologist once and get examined.
Take care.
