Had Pnuemonia With Asthma. I Have Been Coughing Up A Thick/chunky Sometimes Milky White From Lungs
I have asthma and had pnuemonia recently and for at least 2 months have been coughing up a thick/chucky sometimes yellow/brown and sometimes milky white from my lungs. Does this indicate I may still have pneumonia and should I seek medical attention?
Good Day It is quite possible it is the mucous plugs seen in Asthma. The brown colour may be due to associated infection leading to bronchitis. You need to get the sputum examines and get a Chest X-ray as well. Continue taking your bronchodilators as advised.
