Had Protected Encounter, Had Negative Tests On Wetsern Blot, RPR, VDRL , HIV, Urine Infection, Took Injections. Will It Impact Negative Test?
My name is Rajesh im from india. I have had a protected encounter last year in july 2012. After that I had negative tests on 11th day( Wetsern blot, RPR, VDRL , HIV ) and also on the 88th day negative with a rapid test. After that had negative test at 29 weeks(close to 7 months). post that i had a urine infection for which i took injections . I would like to know if my tests are conclusive & can i continue with my life. One more thing the injections that I took for my treat - will it impact my 7 months negative test. Please advice.
well i think ur are not infected with hiv.blood test for hiv after 6 months is consider to be conclusive .but as u r still negative ,i believe that u are not having hiv.injection for urinary tract infection has no impact over your hiv result.basically good i.v antibiotic is given for uti.u can do sex with ur wife.but some time antibody against hivcomes in plasma more than 6 month,so for being surely confirmed perform another test after 3-4 month.if it is negative than u have no chance.
