Had Protected Sex After Period. Feeling Light Headed, Nauseous, Bloated, White Discharge. Reason For Above Symptoms?
Hello, I'm 21 years old. My period ended four weeks ago and I had protected sex a few days later. The next day I started feeling lightheaded and nauseous and bloated. I have also been having white discharge. It happened a week later. My period was supposed to come couple days ago but it also irregular. I'm still feeling bloated, lightheaded, tired and nauseous and also there is still white discharge. Can you explain to me why I'm still feeling this?
Hi, Thanks for the query. According to your description, the possibilities are : - Pelvic inflammatory disease. This can present with symptoms like white discharge, pain abdomen, bloating sensation etc. - Delay in periods can occur due to many causes. Hormonal imbalance is one of them. -Premenstrual phase also presents with symptoms like pain abdomen, bloating sensation etc. So, consult gynecologist once and get examined and go for ultrasound. This will help in ruling out the possibility of pregnancy. If pelvic inflammatory disease is diagnosed you may need one course of antibiotics. If you do not get periods even after one week, go for tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding. Take care.
