Had Protected Sex During Period. Periods Irregular, Not Yet Received. Blood Found During Finger Penetration. Why?
Hi there, I had protected sex with my boyfriend while on my period about 4 weeks ago and I haven't gotten my period yet- I wasn't too worried because my period is generally pretty irregular. However, we were engaging in finger penetration the other day and I started to bleed. There wasn't enough blood for it to be considered my period so I'm confused.. Why am I bleeding?

From history it seems that as you had protected sex during your period, risk of having pregnancy is less likely.
Due to fingering there might be some soreness or minor injury in vagina giving rise to bleeding.
If bleeding continued then consult gynaec and get examined for having any major injury.
