Had Repaired Bladder With A Sling. Had Hysterectomy. Now Feel Pressure And Bulge In Bladder. Feel Urgency To Bathroom. Problem?
I had a hysterectomy in 2005 and about a year and a half ago I had my bladder repaired with a sling. Two weeks ago I felt pressure and a bulge as if my bladder had prolapsed again. I went to my doctor who did the surgery and he said everything was still in place and perhaps the vaginal wall was collapsing. He also asked if I had urgency to urinate and at that time I didn't. Now, a week later, I feel like I'm giving birth to something and I have the urgency to go to the bathroom all the time. The local doctor gave me some medicine to relieve the feeling of urgency, but I still feel pressure and the feeling of something coming out of the vagina is much stronger. What do you think could be my problem and what would you advice me to do?
HI Thank for asking to HCM Your surgeon was thinking in right way, he said that it must be prolapsed of vaginal wall I think it should be ruled out, because chances of this is fairly enough, medicine has got no role in this, you can do one think drink less amount of water, do not delay for voiding try to void the bladder as soon as you feel it, take rest keep your leg elevated, watch for the symptoms whether reduces or not, if you get relief keep this practice continue it may fix the problem, have nice day.
