Had Seizure, Suffer MS, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, MS, Take Tramadol For Pain. Is It A Side Effect ?
I do not have a history of seizures, but had one this last Saturday evening. I have MS, fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis. I take tramadol for pain and one of its rare side effects is seizures. My doctor took me off of the tramadol and said that I could take 800 mg 3 times a day. I see that one of the side effects of Ibuprofen is also seizures. Is it safe to take?
It is safe to take ibuprofen, as the risk of seizures is very low. Tramadol has a much higher risk of causing seizures. The risk of seizures is higher with injections of tramadol, and with higher doses of tramadol, and in those with a past history of seizures.
