Had Shoulder Muscle Pain. Treatment Needed. Worried About The Findings?
I have had moderate L shoulder muscle pain ( posterior) for several days which is slowly getting worse with pain now including posterior L clavicle centrally, headaches on the L side only and pain high up on the L side of the skull with pain of the throat L sided only - painful to palpate. The shoulder pain is much worse when return to standing after bending over eg weeding garden although I do have the pain at rest sitting. All shoulder movements are full ROM but L arm feels a little 'heavy'. If I lie in the wrong position my throat hurts and I almost feel slight constriction of breathing. I have no chest pain and the pain doesn't radiate anywhere. They are all separate pains but seem linked. Never had anything like this previously. ? Your expertise is most welcome!
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the shoulder could be due to a frozen shoulder or a tendonitis. Such inflammatory changes in the joint can only be detected on investigations like MRI scan of the affected shoulder. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
