Had Skin Tag On Inner Thigh, Swelling, Pus Filled. Fear Infection?

I've had a skin tag on my inner thigh since I was a kid, (Now 18) and recently after wearing certain pants it gets really swollen (about the size of a blueberry), fills with pus, pops and goes back to normal? I am constantly afraid of it getting infected. What should I do to keep it from becoming infected and causing bigger problems?

hello dear
thanks for your query at HCM.
If its getting infected or pus filled it would look white, red , warm, and painful if so it has to be drained to prevent further complication.
To prevent further complication
1 prevent area from getting wet
2 keep area dry
3 avoid friction.
4 do not drain by un sterile things like pins .
5 consult doctor get examined if recurs.
regards.
