Had Stroke Ischemic. Speech, PT And OT Therapy. Vision Was Blurred. Suggest?

My mother is 89 years old had a stroke ischemic 2 months ago is now back home & going to out patient rehab. Speech, PT & OT. She woke up this morning did not know where she was she described it as an out of body experience. She also says her vision was blurred; my mom is with it this is totally out of character. What do you think this is? Did she possibly have a TIA this morning or is this dementia? Jackie

Hi,
As this is of very recent and short term origin is likely of having Transient ischemic attack leading to this problem.
At this age this problem is common.
Consult her treating doctor and rule out other possibility of having these symptoms.
Ok and take care.
