Had Surgery For A Bladder Sling, Bladder Spasms, Urination Painful. Started Vesicare. Done CAT Scan. What Is Wrong?

I had surgery for a bladder sling 2004. 2006 started vesicare. now spasms bladder. ache after urination. pain left side probally where ovary use to be. after sleeping 2 hours wake up, stand up and start urinating on self before first step. recently had sonogram of bladder=after urinating still had 113 cc left in. cat scan=no comment on bladder. what tests would show stability of sling or what my problem could be

Hi,

You should be consulting a urosurgeon for the query you have. A sonography is usually going to help you to know if the slings are in place. However, since you are getting pain in the area, this could be due to secondary hemorrhage or infection and I strongly recommend that you meet your urosurgeon as soon as possible.
