Had Unprotected Sex. Have Very Light Bleeding. Is This A Sign Of An Illness?

I am 26. I had my last period on March 26, it was light and ended on March 30. I had unprotected sex on March 31. My period came 10 days late (I am usually regular) and I have very light bleeding, which is red-brown in colour and there are some clots.
I took two home pregnancy tests - on May 1 and May 5 - both negative. What could be the issue?

Hello,

The colour of the blood and the presence of clot indicates some form of urogenital infection.
With unprotected sex the risk of acquiring infections are high.
Delayed periods may also be due to infections.
Check for VDRL.
If it is positive then consult a Venerologist.
Gynecological problems may are present like this.
But by history you had regular cycles in the past.
If needed consult a Gynecologist also.
