Had Unprotected Sex After Menstrual Cycle, Ejaculated. Safe To Have Ipill?

Dear doctor,
My girlfriend is (18), and last evening we had unprotected sex and I ejaculated in her.
It was the 4th or 5th day, after her menstrual cycle got over...
We are worried about her being pregnant, so please suggest what should she do to avoid an unwanted pregnancy...
Is it safe for her to have I.pill? It's not yet 24 hours since we had sex, so it will be effective, right??
Waiting eagerly for ur reply...

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, she may take ipill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
This is effective in most cases.
Please use some regular & reliable method of contraception, if you are not ready for pregnancy.
Take care.
