Had Unprotected Sex, Fever And Red Bumps On Back And Neck Followed. Is It A Symptom Of HIV?

hi dr. i am xyz.. earlier 2 month ago i had a sex with my GF, but accidentlly i gone unprotected for 5 sec. i don't know her hiv status. but after thats i had normal fever after 20 days later and gone with in 1day. And now after 11 weeks there is red bumps on my back and near neck. i am little bit confuse is that symptom of hiv. kindly help me Sir.

Hello,
Although unprotected sex is fraught with danger of acquiring a HIV infection but your symptoms are highly unspecific and do not suggest a HIV infection.
However for peace of mind,it is better to get HIV ELISA test done at the end of 90 days.A negative result would clear your confusion.
