Had Unprotected Sex, Having Reddish Brown Discharge With Slight Cramps, Lower Back Pain, HPT Negative. Reason?

Hi, my name is,Hanivah. I have a problem hopefully u will help me out. I had my periods on 15th last month which lasted for about a week. and on the 22nd i had unprotected sex with my husband. as from 23rd I had reddish brown discharge with slightcramps and lower back pain . on saturday 28th i had unprotected sex again. the discharge is over but I still have slight cramps. Yesterday I decided to take a pregnancy test but it came out negative. what could be the problem and should i be alarmed?

The reddish brown discharge starting 10 days after your periods is not likely to be related to pregnancy. This is more likely to be due to a vaginal infection, cervicitis or a hormonal imbalance. A direct examination of the area is an integral part of diagnosis.
