Had Uterine Ablation, Severe Pain When Its Time For Periods. Advised Hysterectomy, Robotic Hysterectomy. Correct Procedure?
I had uterine ablation 2 yrs ago. For the last year I have had severe pain when it's time for my monthly. This week my Dr has set me up for a hysterectomy in December. The scarring has left me with a hematometra. The pain is unbearable. Is there anything I can do to relieve the pain until I have the hysterectomy? Also I am to have the robotic hysterectomy. Is this procedure the right answer?
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. If after uterine ablation you are having hematometra means your cervix gets stenosed & you should go for hysterectomy. Robotic surgery is 3-D surgery & it is highly efficient one.. Takecare
