Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
The two common causes of hair loss in women are hereditary hair loss and telogen effluvium.
Telogen effluvium is due to stress ( vitamin/mineral deficiency, low acting thyroid, after major surgery etc).
Since your thyroid function is normal, I would suggest you check your serum ferritin level.
Low serum ferriitin is one of the common causes of hair loss.
If you have had any recent surgery, then you may have to wait for a couple of months before hair starts growing again.
A scalp biopsy and a hair pull test may be done to see whether you have hereditary hair loss or telogen effluvium.
