Hand Tremors, Heart Racing, Weakness. Blood Tests, High T4. On Neomercazole. Help?
I have had 2 blood tests which have confirmed a high t4, have no weight loss, And I have a slight hand tremor I get hot easily I have some weakness at times I also feel my heart racing but only sometimes the doctor said my symptoms were subtle as I don't have all the symptoms, why should I go on neomercazole as I haven't lost any weight and don't want to gain any.

You suffer from hyperthyroidism, which means that you're thyroid gland is working overtime and that lead to a lot of serious complications in your body. That is why your doctor has prescribed you with neomercazole (carbimazole), this drug reduces the thyroid production by your thyroid gland by stopping the function of a particular enzyme. Its being prescribed to you so that you dont develop more problems like- exophthalmos delirium panic attacks heart problems like arrhythmias
So stick by the medication and complete the dosage.
