Hard, Bruised Lumps On Armpit With Whitish Yellow Pus And Blood. History Of Having MRSA. Breast Cancer In Family. Suggest
Hi. I have to two lumps in my right armpit and I was wondering what this could be. It does not hurt but it looks bruised and there is a little whitish yellowish pus with blood. Its been there for two months and i have no health insurance so I have been putting off going to the doctor. Breast cancer runs in my family but im only 27 years old so i thought these lumps were probably there because of shaving. It does not feel warm to the touch. If I mash it the swelling goes down but it swells back up again. One is about the size of a pea while the other is about the size of a dime. The lumps are hard and I can move the skin over them. In the past I have had MRSA but this does not seem to be that to me. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi As per your query, they look like enlarged axillary lymph nodes. As pus is coming,it looks like infected ones. In case of cancer, pus will not come. Send the pus for culture and sensitivity. Use appropriate antibiotic as per the report. They will come down. Wish you good health Regards
