Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hai,

Thanks for writing in,

It is difficult to give an opinion without clinically examining you. There is usually a small bony projection which is called as corocoid process. It is felt on the outer one third and just below the collar bone. This is normal. To clear the doubt, Chest Xray is a good tool with us. If needed CT-chest can be done.

Since the swelling is painless and not prominent, nothing to worry as of now. But still get yourself examined by your doctor and follow his advice.

Regards.
