Hard, Red Itchy Bump On Hand. Matter Of Concern?

Hi, I am a little confused at this present time. My daughter showed me a swollen, hard, red, and itchy hump on her hand. I am starting to get a little worried. The same thing popped up on her about a year ago on her foot. I did not get worried I thought maybe it was a ant bite. I showed it to my mate which is a pharmacist, but he did not think it was a big deal like I did not. Do you think it is something serious? Do you think I need to take her to a doctors office?

Hi,
If your daughter dosen't have any other symtoms like fever, If she has this single lesion on hand(exposed part) it's more likely to be an insect bite many a times specilly in children it cures by itself.
You can just oberve her for any other problems-avoid itching ,apply somecalamin preparation for a couple of days
appearence of more lesions, fever, pain ,pus -offcourse needs a doctor's consultation
Thanks.
