Hard Time Having Bowel Movement, Took Milk Of Magnesia, Miralax. Have Extreme Scoliosis. Is This Related ?

Yes! I am having an extremely hard time having a bowel movement. I have taken Milk of Magnesia, Mirlax and Metamucil. I have extreme scoliosis caused from having Polio when I was 14 mo. old. I am 66 yrs. old now and haven't really had problems until I had a pain pump put in to relieve back pain. Could my scoliosis be the problem?

Scoliosis is not generally the cause of constipation however pain medicine/pump may be the cause. You may take mild laxatives as and when required to keep going. Take diet rich in fibers regularly
If problem persists then you may consult a gastroenterologist
Hope this helps
