Has Conjunctivitis, Dry Cheek And Chin, Red Eyes, Fever. Is It Contagious?

Hi i think my daughter has conjunctivitis . She hasnt had the sniffles which in the past is how shes got conjunctivitis before. so wondering if still contagious if its from something else and if she should stay away from other children. We have just come over from australia and acouple of days later she had ared cheek for acouple of days then cheek and chin got really dry, then she got red eyes and now weeping and shes got a temperature

Conjunctivitis is known to be a conatgiouos disease and spreads from close contact or sharing towels, bed sheets from infected person.
Hence better is person with conjunctivitis should be told to use separate towels, hand kerchiefs and others and as per as possible close contact should be avoided. These precautions should be taken for at least 3 - 4 days during which the conjunctivitis is known to be contagious
