Hi ! Are you able to pass air (flatus ) or not ? If not, and your abdominal girth is increasing, you should visit the emergency room of your hospital immediately for a clinical examination, investigations, and further management.
If you are passing flatus, but are unable to pass stool for last 2 1/2 weeks, which is unusual, then also you should visit your family physician who may go for a
rectal examination of yours, and if need be go for an
enema. If there is any associated symptoms like loss of weight, or any bleeding with stool, then you should take appointment with a gastro enterologist who may also advise you for a
colonoscopy to exclude any other organic cause for your recurrent
constipation. Further management will depend on his findings.
In the meantime, you may add more of roughage with enough liquids to your diet and go for regular exercises like morning walk.
Wishing you an early recovery.
