Have Scheuermann Disease, Scoliosis, No Period, Getting Hot Flashes, Feeling Uncomfortable. Possible Reason?

I am 51,have Scheuermann disease and scoliosis, haven't had my period in 1 year,am very athletic and have all my life worked out to help correct posture.I'm getting hot flashes day and night, accompanied by an extremely uncomfortable feeling starting at the solar plexus area, spreading like a belt around the rib cage moving upward towards arm pits and shoulders, lasting ca.30 secs, not with every hot flash, mainly when I was laying still for a while before.Thyroid was O.K.,last physical,3 month ago,all results where perfect. These weird hot flashes I've experienced for ca.2 years now.Menopause, spinal or indicative of something else?
