Have Scoliosis And Frequent UTI, Presently Have Numbness In Forelimbs And Tickling While Urinating. What Could This Be?

I am 20, 5'5" and 148 lbs. I was just diagnosed with scoliosis in august and have very achy, painful back and neck pain often. However, the past couple of days I have had pain, tingling, and numbness in both arms from the shoulders all the way down to my fingertips. I also have a frequent history of UTIs, but the past couple of days, I have had the frequent urge to urinate with a slight tickle feeling, but when I go its barely nothing. The two symptoms together are very uncomfortable and are getting to be unbearable. What is this and what should I do?

Hello,

I have studied your case.

You may need MRI to confirm any nerve root compression due to disc bulge.
If you are having respiratory difficulty or you need for cosmetic correction then you can go for scoliosis correction.

For symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.

For urinary complain consult physician or urologist

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
