Have UTI. Urine Culture Shows Plenty PUS Cells. What Do They Indicate?
Dear sir , In the month of Jan 13 i suffered from urinary Tract infection i wastreated and it was under control within 20 days i faced the same prb and i suggest same my urine for culture test The report says Urine Colour : turbid PUS cell: plenty Epithelial cells-2-4 seen/HPf RBC-3-5 seen/HPF Cast: Prensent Crystal : NIl Others : NIL what does the report indicate? i

Your second urine report also suggests you have urinary tract infection. You have not mentioned about your age and sex.
In this setting, it would be advisable to get Urine culture done to find out which bacteria has caused infection and which is the most appropriate antibiotic treatment to treat it.
I would suggest to contact your doctor again. You may need Ultrasound scan of abdomen to find out the status of kidneys, ureter and urinary bladder as this is second episode.

You had Urinary Tract infection in january,now you have developed again UTI or may be the first episode was not treated adequately and relapsed.
This urine report shows pus cells in plenty so there is infection ,your urine culture report will tell which organisms are responsible and which drug is most suitable to treat such infection.
Till culture report comes your doctor may start urinary specific antibiotic empirically and can be changed once report comes.
In the mean time you should take plenty of fluids including crane berry juice and water.
You should also get investigated for any predisposing factors like Diabetes or obstruction to urinary tract.
Personal Hygiene and sexual activity may be responsible for recurrence so take care.
Once you are cured take care to prevent relapse and recurrence.

If this reoccurred so soon meant that the infection was not initially irradiated .
