Have A Bump In Between Butt Cheeks. What Are The Chances Of It Being A Cyst?
I am a 14 year old girl and I have recently discovered a bump in between my butt cheeks, near my tail bone. At first I thought there was just a bruise there but one I looked it wasn t. Then after I thought that maybe it was just a pimple but a few days later I started to notice a large bump on one side of the pimple like thing. It is just under the skin and is very painful to sit on. I am very scared to tell my mom and I did research and found people with similar symptoms. They called it a cyst. After more research on what a cyst is I have gotten even more scared.
It may be pyoderma with intertrigo with secondary bacterial infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
I would recommend you to apply antibiotic cream and to take a course of antibiotic and anti inflammatory drugs. Take Sitz bath in dettol mixed water in tub. Improve hygiene and immunity.
Hope this helps.
