Have A Growing Lump Outside The Ear

I had a growing lump on the outside of my ear (but just before my ear canal) which was hard and looked like a pimple. I was picking at it as it was quite itchy and a water looking fluid has been coming out of it any time I touch it for the past couple of days now. It s a lot smaller but it doesn t seem to want to go completely. Any idea what it could be? Thank you! Ashleigh

Hi,

Lump near the ear Tragus, might be sebaceous cyst. It is a benign condition. It is a cyst containing cheesy material. It may be infected. It may be removed surgically. You consult dermatologist or surgeon. It may be excised by him under local anaesthesia. It is a minor surgery done in OPD. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
