Have A Lump On Temple, Ear Pain, Pressure On Face. Took Antibiotics. Treated For Sinus Infection
I was on a plane and sitting in an isle seat, a guy was putting his lugage in the overhead and dropped something heavy and it hit me in the top right side of my head. I felt a little dizzy but just went on about my business, The next day i woke up with a lump on my right temple about the size of a penny. Since then i havent felt quite right. My ear on that side has pain off and on. I went to the dr and was treated for a possible sinus infection because i had some pressure on that side of my face as well. After finishing the antibiotics the pressure is still there and so is the lump. Any suggestions?
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It is possible that the lump could have been a hematoma. And hematomas take 3-5 days to come down. you have not stated how long it has been since the trauma. if its been more than 5 days then your certainly need to go ahead with a CT scan of the head. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
