Have Arm Pain, Cannot Lift, Prescribed Gabapentin, Not Helping. Recommendations?
Yes Sir, My mother is having severe right arm pain to the point where she cannot even lift a cup of coffee. She went to a clinic and they prescribed her Gabapentin but that is not helping for her pain, what should i do? should i take her the the ER, to get medication to relieve the pain?

Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having periartheritis of right shoulder joint.
Go for x-ray right shoulder joint.
Go for physiotherapy of the joint.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Meanwhile give her NSAID medicine to get relief from pain.
Ok and take care.
