Have Bad Hives And Nausea, Headache, Vomiting, Ticking Sound Coming From Throat. What To Do?

My niece became very ill after spending the night in an older home she had just purchased. She woke up with bad hives and nausea , she also had a headache and vomiting for 2 days. She ended up at a hospital ER with IV steroids for a couple of hours. She has since gotten better, but she has an annoying ticking sound coming from her throat and its very annoying.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
By Older home you mean that the home was not clean , if so then do get it clean and then she should stay there as because of suffocation there could be symptoms .In old and closed homes there is decreased amount of oxygen.so see for the proper ventilation of your home.as dirt causes the throat irritation.
she must get her self checked for asthma by a chest physician.
Get ENT consultation for the throat and she could do gargles with betadine and ask her to take steam inhalations .
