Have Been Smoking Pot. Now Quitting Slowly. How Long Before I Can Pass A Urine Drug Screening?
I am 33 years old and I have been smoking pot since I was 13. Recently I have decided to quit so that I can find a good paying job. At one time I smoked 28 grams a day of regular weed or about 5 grams of hydroponics, which is very potent. Then I slowed to about 7 grams of the good stuff a week. Then I slowed to about 2 joints of regular aday. Then I slowed down to about a small joint every 2 days. It has been 2 weeks since I have smoked at all. How long before I can pass a urine drug screening. I am 5'5", and about210 pounds. I drink about at least 1/2 gallon of water a day .

Given the chronic nature of your smoking pot, it will be best to stay like 2-3 months after quitting before you can engage in any urine test. Normally it should clear within a couple of weeks especially if you are drinking much water. But for clean results with no traces, it is best to stay at least 2-3 months after quitting, then take at least 3 litres of water daily for that period. Then after which I suggest you do not get back to smoking it as it has detrimental effects on the brain on long term use.
