Have Been Taking Vigamox For Pink, Swollen And Dry Eyes. Should I Continue Taking Restasis?
Hi, I have been taking Vigamox for 4 days for Pink eye. My eyes are still very swollen, more swollen than when I went to the doctor. Should I been concerned and how long does it take for the swelling to go down? Thank you, Rebecca Also, I have dry eyes and I wasn't told to stop the Rastasis, but read all drops were to stop so I haven't used my drop for the last 3 days.
Hello, It seems from the history that you are having acute conjunctivitis, for which you are on treatment with vigamox. You can continue vigamox eye drops as advised by your doctor. The swelling will decrease over a period of 1-2 weeks depending on the severity of infection.
But you have to continue restasis eye drops for treatment of dry eyes.
Thank you
