My ENT said I had benign cysts in my tonsil area. The right side seems a bit swollen. I have been a social smoker for the past 10 years (1 pack/2 weeks). I know that any smoking is bad, now I am scarred that this abnormality is the start of something worse (cancer?). Not smoking is a definite....what can I do to reduce the inflammation?
hello. cysts are a common occurrence on tonsils and will generally resolve by themselves, just do warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day. please stop smoking, and dont worry, relax it is highly unlikely that the cyst will change into cancer. thanks
