Have Bleeding And Pain. Have A Bladder Infection. Took Azo Crabberry Medicine. How To Ease The Pain?
I've had a bladder infection since Monday niight...typical symptoms, but on Tuesday eve..was also having blood, not period I am 65..but the pain got worse...I bought Azo cranberry pills but did not help...This a.m. I am in worse pain...Finally my primary called in Cipro but the pain and freequency is taking a toll cannot sleep. I am drinking plenty of water and cranberry juice...How do I ease the pain? I have been passing passing little blood clots...my results are of course elevated white cells, red cells, occult blood? help....
Welcome to the forum. You need to give more time for the medicines to act. Meanwhile, you may take FLAVOXATE tablet thrice daily fro a maximum of five days, to ease the pain. If there is no relief in a day or two , intravenous antibiotics may be necessary as the infection seems severe. Please send urine sample for culture sand sensitivity, if not done yet. Best regards
