Have Blister On Toe. Wearing Sandles For Over A Month. Should I Pop It?
I have a blister that is on the outside of my right big toe. It started out as a small about the size of a standard pencil eraser and is now about the size of a nickel or quarter. I have been wearing sandles for over a month with the warm weather so shoes are not the culprit. Any suggestions? Should I pop it or just leave it alone. It doesn't hurt just looks really ugly!
Hello Thanks for your query posted. I would be pleased to answer your query .
You seem to have got Blistering dactylitis or Blistering Tinea infection which is due to the fungal infection . You would need to take an anti fungal course of Fluconazole once a week as a prescription from your dermatologist . ' You can pop the blister with a sterile needle.
You would also need to apply mixture of canestan and cortaid lotion which are available over the counter twice a day after you pop the blister.
Thanks and take care
