Have Blood Clots While Passing Urine. Had A Bladder Infection Earlier And Took Amoxicillin. What Can Be The Reason?
I had a bladder infection a out a month ago. 10 day course of amoxicillin seemed to clear it up. Today I urinated blood with 2 pea sized clots in it. Since then, urine has been clear with no signs of blood. Must admit never felt like the infection completely cleared up, left with frequent urination and feeling of urgency but ignored it.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Urgency of micturition , Peanut size blood clot with urine, urine infection, Desire to urinate. All these above mentioned symptoms are an indication of , 1 Calculus in urinary tract system ( from kidney, ureter, bladder, urethra any where), 2 Infection any where as mentioned in urinary system. In my opinion you should consult a surgeon/physician and get in blood , urine culture examination as well ultrasound with emphasis over urinary tract system organs. 3 Blood dyscrasias ( remote chances). Hope I have answered your query. If further any question I will help. Good luck. Dr. HET
